Privacy Policy
Zs-Consulting (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates AI Margin (aimargin.ai). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you use our Service. We are committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Hungarian data protection laws.
1. Data Controller & Processor
AI Margin is the data controller for its own users' data (email address, company name, billing information).
AI Margin is the data processor for customers' API usage data. You are the controller of any data you process using our Service. We act as a processor on your behalf, and our processing is limited to the usage metadata necessary to provide the Service.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:

3. What We Do NOT Collect
We explicitly do not collect, store, or process:
- The content of your prompts sent to AI providers
- AI model outputs or responses
- Your end-users' personally identifiable information
- Credit card numbers (handled entirely by Stripe)
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data for the following purposes:
- Providing and maintaining the Service
- Generating profitability reports and cost analysis dashboards
- Processing payments and managing subscriptions
- Sending transactional emails (magic links, alerts)
- Product analytics and improvement (with your consent, via PostHog)
- Error monitoring and debugging (via Sentry, legitimate interest)
- Communicating service updates and changes
5. Third-Party Services (Sub-processors)
We use the following third-party services to operate AI Margin:

6. Data Retention
We retain your data for the following periods:

7. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest, including analytics
- Right to restrict processing — request limitation of processing in certain circumstances
- Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent for analytics tracking at any time

8. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies:

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest
- Access controls and role-based permissions
- Regular security reviews and dependency updates
- Content Security Policy headers and other HTTP security measures
- No storage of payment card data (handled entirely by Stripe)
10. International Data Transfers
Some of our sub-processors may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or reliance on adequacy decisions.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
